The idea of blurring the lines between tangible reality as we know it and a narrative in which our planet functions almost as a ficticious digital organism is really interesting to me, and I aim to develop these ideas further.
As of now, I have explored various techniques in Adobe After Effects to pursue the aesthetics shown. I also intend to explore more experimental software such as TouchDesigner to investigate the aforementioned crossover to a greater extent.
Using ASCII and blob tracking alongside self-recorded video content, my aim is to evoke a sense of surveillance - a slightly unsettling concept that leaves a lot of meaning up to the audience’s personal perception.
