In my current year of University, I am a member of Loughborough Skate Society’s committee, helping out producing media.
Consisting of photos, videos, and animation projects, being involved in a committee position has been a position of responsibility and has helped me to balance deadlines, manage my time, and have a say in important decisions regarding the way the society runs.
Engaging with this position has been highly beneficial to me, as exploring my interest in photography and social media through an official channel is something I’d wanted to do for a long time. I gave myself the feeling of being thrown in the deep end by not having prior experience, but looking back I believe that’s the best choice I could’ve made.
